Celebration Books
A book of stories about someone you love.
You send one link. The people who love them each add a story or a photo, in their own words. We gather every voice into a single hardcover book.

How it works
One link out, one book back.
Start the book
Tell us who the book celebrates and add the people you want to invite. It takes a few minutes to begin, and you can keep adding contributors along the way.
Share one link
Family and friends open the link on any phone or computer, then add a story or photo in their own words. Contributing is free, with no account or app needed.
Make it theirs
You review every contribution, arrange the pages, and approve the finished book before it prints. We turn those voices into a hardcover made to stay in the family.
The book itself
Not a website. A book.
One organizer, many voices, one book on the shelf.
- Matte hardcover
- Color photos throughout
- Premium 80# paper
- Casewrap binding

The Signature keepsake
Some memories are meant to be heard.
Keep the voices behind the stories, right there in the book.
Contributors can record short videos, not just write. A QR code printed in the book plays each video, so their voices stay close to the stories they told. We host the videos securely for ten years, ready whenever someone opens the book and presses play.
What is a Celebration Book?
A Celebration Book is a hardcover book of stories and photos about one person, contributed by their family and friends. One organizer starts the book and shares a link; each person invited adds a memory in their own words, free, with no account needed. Kindred Tales Celebration Books start at $129 and are made for memorials, weddings, retirements, and milestone birthdays.
One-time purchase. No subscription.
Two ways to make their book.

Questions, answered
What organizers ask.
What is a Celebration Book?
A Celebration Book is a hardcover collection of stories and photos about one person, gathered from the people who know them. It can honor a life, mark a wedding or retirement, or become a gift for a milestone birthday. Every contribution stays in the writer's own words, so the finished book feels like the people inside it.
How do family and friends add their stories?
The organizer shares one private contribution link by text or email. Contributors open it on any phone or computer, write a story or add a photo, and send it in for free. They do not need an account, a password, or an app.
What's the difference between Essential and Signature?
Essential ($129) includes the full hardcover Celebration Book, the shared contribution link, and stories and photos from everyone invited. Signature ($189) adds short video contributions, QR codes printed in the book that play those videos, and secure video hosting for ten years. Both packages let the organizer review and arrange every page before printing.
How long does it take to make a Celebration Book?
Most organizers give contributors four to eight weeks to send their stories, but the gathering stage can move at your pace. Leave another couple of weeks for printing and shipping once you approve the pages. If the book is for a particular day, starting early gives slower responders room to take part.
Can the person the book celebrates be surprised?
Yes. The organizer can share the contribution link only with family and friends and keep the finished book private until the celebration. If you would rather include the person along the way, you can do that too; you decide who sees the project and when.
Who decides what goes in the finished book?
The organizer does. You can review the stories and photos as they arrive, choose their order, and see every page before anything prints. Nothing has to be final until the book feels ready to you.
One-time purchase. Everyone you invite contributes free.
