Kindred Tales is a small family-owned business, based in Minnesota. With a deep appreciation for family history, Kindred Tales was born from a personal journey. Experiencing the loss of a parent at a young age and facing a family history of dementia ignited a passion to preserve stories, wisdom, and life experiences for future generations.
After exploring the services on the market, we felt there had to be a better way: a simpler, more heartfelt way to document and honor a loved one's life. That belief led to the founding of Kindred Tales in 2022.

Kindred Tales was founded by Nick and Rebecca in 2022 to record our own family's stories. We are wholly family-owned, built from the ground up, and not answerable to any investors. That means we can focus on one thing: making the best possible product for capturing your loved ones' life stories.
